If you happened to stumble to this site because you searched for me in conjunction with my newspaper, the Jasper County Sun, you should definitely check out my latest feature story in yesterday’s issue.
The Jasper Boys & Girls Club received word that it will be shut down, effective the end of September. Its director, Anne Walker, already received her papers relieving her of her duties. It was a sad day for the community of Ridgeland. This club is pretty much the only thing these children have to do as an after-school, or summer, activity.
